Intro
With the photographs by Max Grüninger, we present the first fashion piece from SR in collaboration with Le Laboureur and Malik Dellimore: a black workwear jacket with white screen printing. The photo series was taken in various neighborhoods of Los Angeles, from the streets of DTLA to Fairfax, Silverlake, and Venice Beach. It captures not only the jacket but also the distinctive spirit of the city – a blend of creativity, colors, and stories that continually inspire our designs.
Background
We created a custom sound design using recorded sounds from around the city combined with analog synthesizers to create a unique audio experience for presenting SR Los Angeles. This soundscape captures the essence of the city's dynamic and diverse environment, enhancing the overall presentation and adding another layer to the sensory experience of our first fashion piece.
Campaign
We combined all these elements on a dedicated microsite to allow users to experience Los Angeles from our perspective. Visitors can explore the photographs and soundscapes, gaining a deeper understanding of the inspiration behind our designs and the unique spirit of Los Angeles.
Editorial
We also created a newspaper to publish the images in a physical format, adding a tangible aspect to our narrative of Los Angeles. This allows readers to engage with the visuals in a more direct way, providing a physical connection to the city's atmosphere and complementing our fashion piece.
